Children's Physical Activity Questionnaire

The Child Physical Activity Questionnaire (CPAQ) asks parents to report on their child’s physical activity and sedentary activities across school time and leisure time over the past 7 days.

It asks questions across four areas of activities:

- Sports activities

- Leisure time activities

- Activities at school (inc. Physical Education classes and active travel)

- Other activities (inc. sedentary activities such as TV viewing, computer use, homework, play)

Frequency and duration of a number of activities within each section are asked for weekdays and weekend days. The instrument is typically administered to the parent.
